Glossary of Terms 1. Server(s) include any device that would hold any one or combination of web hosting, email, active directory, file sharing, databases or other hosted services. 2. Workstation(s) are defined as devices that an employee or user will be using day-to-day. 3. Networked Device(s) are device(s) that are not classified as a Server or a Workstation but still need to be connected to the network these devices can include but are not limited to, printers, fax machines, scanners. 4. Network interface devices are devices such as Modems, Routers, Hardware Firewalls, Switches and Hubs. 5. Server install includes and configuration and installation of the software to be installed, this does not cover the cost of the software or hardware. 6. Network Infrastructure installation includes and configuration and installation of the software to be installed, this does not cover the cost of the software or hardware. However in the case of cable drops, or the install of a network tap wall box, the hardware is covered and included. 7. Networked Device(s) install includes and configuration and installation of the software to be installed, this does not cover the cost of the software or hardware. 8. Workstation(s) install includes and configuration and installation of the software to be installed, this does not cover the cost of the software or hardware. 9. Break - Fix & Support pricing is $125.00 per hour billed in 15 minute increments. 10. After Hours Break - Fix & Support is $180.00 per hour billed in 15 minute increments. After Hours is defined as hours that fall outside of normal business hours. 11. Server(s) Lease Starts at list price with increase in cost for additional options and upgraded hardware and software. 12. Workstation(s) Lease Starts at list price with increase in cost for additional options and upgraded hardware and software. 13 . Network Device(s) Lease Starts at list price with increase in cost for additional options and upgraded hardware and software. 14. Network Interface Device(s) Lease Starts at list price with increase in cost for additional options and upgraded hardware and software 15. Data Recovery is the process of recovering data from a hard disk that has failed testing or is in the process of failing, imaging of the disk and file extraction are available in this service. Maximum hard disk size is 1TB, hard disks larger than this size will have additional fees assessed. 16. Data Rescue is the process of recovering data from a hard disk drive that will no longer respond. Disk drive may have to be sent to a 3rd party for processing if the disk cannot be rescued in house. 17. Awareness Training is for informational purposes only, its aim is to ensure the employees are made aware of the Cybersecurity threats to them and the organization they are employed with. 18. Network Audits are done with the utmost care to examine every aspect of a network, a Network map will be created, if one does not exist, and will be updated. Findings will be reported to CTO and CEO, along with a recommended action plan. 19. Pentesing is the act of testing the defences of the organization's, employees and security, data loss may happen as a result.
